Cole’s Chronicle was launched out of desperation rather than passion. Senior year of college, soon to be cast into the deep end of “real” life, I had no idea what I wanted to do next, and only vague notions of what would guide me there. In my dire search for direction, I kept hearing one relenting message: Write!

And so I did. I began to write for no one other than myself. After a few months, I caught a glimpse of direction hiding behind the foliage. Not explicit, not obvious, but a glimpse. With every idea hashed out here, I clear a few of those branches, getting a better picture of my path forward.

After a few swings of the hatchet, this whole writing thing started to come easier, and I decided that sharing my journey could help others along their way too--that's when Cole’s Chronicle was born.

The topics I write about are evergreen; you won’t read about celebrity scandals or the NFL Playoffs. The ideas raised here have been discussed for as long as humans have had the capacity for language, and they will continue to be pondered until humans are either extinct or degenerate.

Apart from writing, I am a designer at Two Trees Architects in Ojai, California. Much like how I try to craft a meaningful existence with words, so do I with walls and ceilings for our clients.
